Treasure Hunt
Follow the clues that will lead you to important events in life that will help you follow Heavenly Father's plan.
We hid the clues in plastic eggs and dropped them off ahead of time. While the girls were searching we realized we should've just hid them subtlety (dropped them when they weren't looking), during the hunt.
Clue #1
You took your first breath here.
(hospital)
Clue #2
You came from Heaven to a family that loves you! You were given a body to help you learn and grow to become like your Heavenly Father.
Go to a place where kids like to run around and have fun.
(park)
Clue #3
Your years at home all day with mom passed by quickly. The time came for you to begin school.
Go to a place where you learn during the week.
(elementary school)
Clue #4
At school you are learning a lot and making new friends. You are becoming more responsible and are now accountable for the decisions you make.
When you are eight this important event occurs. Go to a place where this happens.
(church, river, or other body of water)
Clue #5
You now have the Holy Ghost to guide and comfort you. His spirit can always be with you as you make good choices. You will mistakes as well, but because of the Savior, you can repent and get back on the path.
Satan wants you to lose your way and will try and tempt you. One way he does this is through media and friends. Go to a place you may be tempted to watch something that isn't appropriate.

Clue #6
As you grow you will develop talents and discover new interests. You will find joy as you learn new things and acquire new skills. There are many things you can study to become: teacher, nurse, photographer, etc.
Go to a place where people go to stay or get healthy.
(doctor's office)
Clue #7
You will face challenges and make important decisions every day. Your decisions determine your path in life. Making good decisions may leave you lonely or unpopular at times, but will lead you to greater happiness than the world will ever give you.
Go to a place that is beautiful and holy.
(temple)
End
In the temple you will make important covenants. Keeping these covenants will lead you to live with Heavenly Father again. You can be sealed to your spouse and future children. You can find great joy in this life and in the next.
